I recommend that you keep installing updates until there are no more updates to install – and here’s why:
Imagine you are going to update your antivirus software. You click on the [update] button (or do something similar) and the software updates – perhaps the computer is restarted as part of the process. It would not be unreasonable to assume that you have now updated the software and no longer need to do anything else for a week or a month or however long you leave it between updates.
But I recommend running the update process (however you do it) again (and again) until the process says ‘I have no more updates to do’. Now you have completed the updates and can relax and have a biscuit.
